Teaching

Teaching responsibilities in Salisbury include running weekly eduction meetings for the cardiology department, echo teaching and mentoring for the cardiac physiologists and junior doctors and lectures to general practitioners and junior doctors. Following a Royal College of Physicians teaching visit to Accra Ghana I have run teaching courses in cardiology and echocardiography in Ethiopia. With another consultant cardiologist and a cardiac physiologist I have run 1 or 2 week courses for local doctors in Jimma, Gondar and Mekele over the last 3 years. I am Royal College of Physicians tutor for the core medical trainees in Salisbury.
